Markus Strohmaier is a Full Professor of Web-Science at the Faculty of Computer Science at University of Koblenz-Landau (Germany) and Head of Department (FIS) at GESIS – the Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences (Germany). He was an Assistant Professor at Graz University of Technology (Austria) from 2007-2013 and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Stanford University (USA) during the 2011/12 academic year. His research focuses on the World Wide Web, his interests include social computation, agents, online production systems and crowdsourcing.
